By definition, decluttering is removing unnecessary items from an untidy or overcrowded space.  It's a process of sorting through belongings and deciding whether to keep, donate, sell or recycle.

Hiring a professional organiser brings fresh eyes and energy to a project, helps get you get started, is impartial to help you make informed decisions, and motivates and encourages you to complete the project.  Plus two pairs of hands are better than one!

Not at all, I provide a confidential and non-judgmental service.  As a professional organiser, I expect some spaces to be messy, often dusty and dirty, it's part of the job.  I like to focus on the solutions that help you gain better control in your home, we're not aiming for perfection, just a system that works for you in your home.

Once you get in touch we can have a chat about your situation and what you would like to achieve.  If you're local to Horsham I'll be happy to come and see you for a free 30 minute face to face assessment of the project, and you'll be under no obligation to book a session at that point..  

Some time together at the beginning, throughout the project and at the end is really needed. The rest is completely up to you, I'm happy to work alone, together or a bit of both.

The amount of time really varies depending on the size of the space and amount/type of clutter.  For example, sentimental belongings take much longer to de-clutter than a kitchen cupboard. Sessions generally last 3-4 hours, but further sessions can sometimes be needed.

I will take away a car boot full of charity donations at the end of each session free of charge. I can also advise you on where to take, sell or dispose of items. 

I will clean cupboards, shelves and surfaces as part of the decluttering process but I don’t offer a full cleaning service, I’m there to help sort through the items in your space.

My initial consultation by phone or in your home is free.

Sessions are bookable at an hourly rate of £30, with each session being a minimum of 3 hours.
